This renowned project offered emerging actors, directors, writers and producers the ultimate theatrical challenge – to create and perform six new plays in just 24 hours.

I worked with Steve Winter to identify the emerging actors for the company, as well as being on the panel for the producers, writers and directors. Each year we would audition over 1000 young people before inviting a select few to participate in a weekend weekend audition. From this we would find our company of twenty- six actors, six directors, six producers and six writers to create six plays in 24 hours to be performed on the Old Vic Stage.

Alumni from the project include writers Morgan Lloyd Malcom and Eleanor Lawrence, directors Tom Attenborough and Kirsty Patrick Ward and actors including Bryony Hannah, Charity Wakefield and Gethin Anthony. Producers from the project currently hold senior posts at the Donmar Warehouse, Lyric Hammersmith and Nimax Theatres.
